Garden care and planting design

At Cynara Gardens, we believe that a beautiful garden should feel both natural and deeply connected to its surroundings. Based in West Dorset, we specialise in thoughtful garden design, planting schemes, soft landscaping and horticultural maintenance. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, we create gardens that celebrate the changing seasons, combining unusual and carefully selected plants with flowing, naturalistic planting to bring texture, movement and year-round interest to outdoor spaces.

Our approach is rooted in a genuine passion for plants, traditional horticultural skills and an appreciation for the character of each individual garden. From transforming neglected borders and creating wildlife-friendly habitats to designing and establishing entirely new planting schemes, we work closely with our clients to create spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable. Whether tending an established garden or bringing a new vision to life, our aim is to create gardens that develop in richness, character and beauty with every passing year.
